For the 22/23 school year, the COVID-19 are very similar to those that were in place at the close of school in June 2022.
- Masks are required in all school health offices.
- Masks are not required to be worn in school buildings, other than health offices, but anyone wishing to wear a mask will be allowed to do so.
- Masks are not required on school transportation but the State of Massachusetts requires school vehicle windows to be open whenever possible. Please make sure your child is aware of this and dressed appropriately.
- Students and staff who test positive for COVID-19 must isolate for at least five (5) days. School nurses will have information for families about return to school protocols, including masking. The full guidance is linked on the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's website: https://www.doe.mass.edu/covid19/
- The test-and-stay program and test distribution at schools has ended. Schools have a limited number of tests that will be made available to families on an as needed basis until the current supply runs out.
- The district will no longer report weekly COVID-19 numbers to families.
