Dear STGRSD Families,
Additional staffing shortages for our transportation provider have resulted in significant changes to our transportation routes and many students will have new bus assignments and adjusted routes. Families utilizing district transportation have received emails about their student’s bus assignment which will be effective on Monday, April 4, 2022. The changes will remain in effect for the foreseeable future.
We apologize for the late notice of the changes and understand the inconvenience this will cause. It is reasonable to expect the changes will result in increased ridership and longer ride times on the newly adjusted routes and adjustments on one route may result in unanticipated delays on another route. We ask for everyone’s patience as the LPVEC Transportation Department works out the new routes and timing. Families will be notified if additional adjustments are necessary.
We are committed to providing students with safe transportation to and from school and if staffing levels improve, our transportation provider will work to reinstate routes if possible.
